Self-initiated project to produce a body of artwork as a response to street life in Delhi and working with women in micro-textile industries finalising with exhibition in India, April 2008. Also organising workshops with 'HOPE' project for underprivileged children.
Finalising with exhibitions at the British High Commissioner's Residence, New Delhi, India and the Nucleus Gallery, Chatham, Kent 2008.
2006 - 2007: Great Dixter House and Gardens, Northiam, East Sussex
Evolving project studying and recording the colours of the flamboyant and exuberant planting schemes from Nov 2006 to Oct 2007 and exhibiting in The Benenden Hall, August 2008.
2005 - 2006: Sanskriti Foundation, New Delhi, India
Creative research project in India exploring Indian culture, materials, textiles, pattern and colour. Organised workshops with 'Mobile Creche' organisation for underprivileged children.
2002 - 2004: Integrated Services Programme (ISP), Teynham, Kent
Working with children with emotional and behavioural problems. Having a permanent studio at ISP enabled the children to interact on a day-to-day basis with myself and the creative processes.
2000 - 2001: Hadlow Horticultural College, Hadlow, Kent
Scheme to promote creativity within the community. Funded by South East Arts, Year of the Artist 2000 Awards Scheme.
